Assisting the Landslide victims has been a long fast week. I have had a total of 14 hours sleep in 5 days..not bad. I am filling a major's billet role as the Combined Information Bureau for Balikatan 2006 with the added responsibility of getting the news about Leyte out to the World. My Captain left me for Leyte and he is with all the media from around the world doing CNN interviews, etc. It is like Tsunami relief all over again. The pictures show my arrival in Philippines. I also had the opportunity to preach to a local Protestant congregation and almost all the women and girls were crying with some teary eyes in the men. God was moving. the other photos shows be giving a Combined Exercise Operation Center Brief to Colonels and sometimes I brief generals. I have 2 of my Marines in Leyte and have 3 other Marines here and 2 Navy working for me. We are all responsible for gettin the news out to the world about this tragedy. We are being told all of the time that we are doing a great God's grace. It is crazy..but worth it all. Love you all..Larry Torres

Philippine Outreach

Hello from the Philippines...what a great work it has been so far. Chaplain Biadog allowed me to lead worship at the Philippine Air Force Base, Clark, on Sunday. I had the opportunity to play several songs and give a short testimony. Praise the Lord. The picture with the taller spanish guy is Karim Delgado, who is Marine who worked for me who prayed to receive Christ after Souhki Forbes talked to him. We are roomates and we constantly talk about the Scriptures and he is learning and I am learning patience...He is my BARUCH!!! I will be teaching a Wendnesday Bible study and a W2 Philippines on Sunday evenings. Have also been asked to lead worship for National Prayer Breakfast in front of General Robeson, a fellow believer, who will be the guest speaker. Please pray for this and for those service members here in a dangerous area...Philippine Marines are getting shot. Also, met a pastor on the road...and we had a great time. Praise the Lord!!!!All4Good

Well, I have been inClark Air Base in the the Philippines for 4 days now and time is going by rather quickly. If you look at the map we are in the LUZON area up North. I have had the opportunity to talk with Pol on his cell. His son Marjohn is in the hospital again...3 bottles of dextrose...urine is not going through the kidney properly...might need surgery. Please pray. We are not up on internet can't post everyday. I am hoping to play with the praise team for church here tomorrow. Had the opportunity to share Christ with two Marines during a four-hour trip from Manila back to Clark Air Base.
Thank you for your prayers. I am hoping this is my last deployment in the Corps before retirement. ALL4Good
